About Us

Welcome to the Malvern Hills Gardening Club website.

Who Are We?

We are a small, friendly group of enthusiastic gardeners with members of all ages. Our group attracts members from Malvern and the surrounding villages. We have recently changed our meetings to a new venue and look forward to welcoming new members of all gardening abilities and experience. In 2025 we celebrated our 175th anniversary: we are one of the oldest gardening clubs in the country and are affiliated to the RHS. Details of our 175th anniversary celebrations can be found on a dedicated webpage, here.

Club Constitution

Information about the club constitution can be found on the 2025 AGM page, here

What Do We Do?

During our meetings we have subject matter expert guest speakers. We also run a friendly competition where members are encouraged to enter a variety of exhibits for which points are awarded and an overall winner announced at the AGM. During the summer month members are invited to take part in outings and garden visits. In August we hold an Annual Flower and Produce show.

When Do We Meet?

The group meet on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 7.30pm. Annual membership is £15 to be paid on joining with no additional monthly cost. Visitors are welcome to attend out meetings, with a £3.00 fee for each meeting attended.

Our meetings are held at:

Malvern Evangelical Church, 204-208 Pickersleigh Road, Malvern Link, WR14 2QX.
