The club will hold its AGM on Wednesday 25 October 2025, at 7:30pm at the Malvern Evangelical Church – our normal venue.
Prior to the meeting reports from the Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer will be provided to members by the Club Secretary by email.
The Committee reviewed the Club’s Constitution. The current version, which was revised in 2022 and was amended again last year, was harder to understand than we had expected and remembered and the Committee recommends a number of revisions are made. These can be summarised as follows:
The key changes are:
- Rewording the Club’s purpose to better align with what we currently do
- Providing more clarity on the roles of the officers, providing defined roles for the President and Chairperson, and allowing for a Membership Secretary if a member volunteers for the role
- Providing more clarity on the appointment of Officers and allowing them to resign and be replaced mid-year
- Providing more clarity on how co-opted Committee members are appointed and their term of office.
- Putting financial sentences together in one place
- Clarifying the AGM, EGM and constitution paragraphs

Members will asked to vote to approve the following motions:
- Approval of revisions to the Club’s Constitution
- Setting of Member’s subscription for 2026 at £15
- Election of Katie MacDonald to become Treasurer
- Election of candidates for Vice President and Membership Secretary if members come forward for these roles
- Approval of the Club’s accounts
- Continuing the Bridge School as the Club’s nominated charity
